This year's autumn meeting will address some of the more unusual soft tissue surgery emergencies and will cover topics like facial and dental emergencies and reconstructions, stick injuries, acute thoracic and ocular emergencies and head trauma for the soft tissue surgeon. As always it promises to be a thought provoking and interesting meeting with plenty of time to debate and socialise.

As always, the topic is "What is new and hot in the world of soft tissue surgery" and we have lined up some great speakers including Jonathan Bray, Pieter Nelissen and Gert Ter Haar. 

Scientific Autumn Meeting

The AVSTS is running this year's autumn meeting as a joint scientific meeting with the Small Animal Medicine Society. The topic will be "Organ Failure" and the meeting will be held in the Queens Hotel in Chester.  As always, this promises to be a thought-provoking and entertaining meeting and we hope to welcome you all there.

At this years precongress satellite meeting we have another great line-up including some international and national speakers in the field of veterinary and human soft tissue surgery. As always the meeting will cover "what is new and hot in the field of soft tissue surgery" and it promises to be as always a thought-provoking day. 

Scientific Autumn Meeting: "Hints, tips and tricks in soft tissue surgery"

This year's autumn meeting will be held in Scotland on 11 and 12 October 2013.  The Topic is "Hints, tricks and tips". Sam and Richard  have invited experienced colleagues like Donald Yool, Jackie Demetriou, Davina and Terry Emmerson to share their experience with the rest of the membership on common surgical problems.  Accomodation is at the Holiday Inn right next door to the zoo. Registration will include conference, accomodation, a visit to the zoo and talk by the "panda vet" as well as Friday night entertainment with a live band (Teannich).  We hope to see you there...
